MCC, a Dallas-based integrated marketing communications firm, is a finalist in the 2017 Dallas-Fort Worth American Marketing Association (AMA) Marketer of the Year Awards in the Integrated Marketing Business to Business category for its work with global data center REIT, CyrusOne.
“We are proud to be recognized for our hard work with CyrusOne,” said Mike Crawford, president, MCC. “Our integrated marketing efforts were a success because we were able to get CyrusOne’s message in front of a very targeted audience which led to great results.”
Throughout 2016, one of CyrusOne’s main marketing initiatives centered on the critical considerations businesses must take when deciding between leasing a build-to-suit data center or building a privately owned data center. Many businesses have not yet evolved their thinking to align with new strategic opportunities of efficiently and effectively building a data center and are, in turn, wasting valuable resources building their own facilities.
MCC dropped a geonet over key target companies which included U.S.-only, behavioral IT directors, IT managers, C-suite executives and Fortune 1000 companies to leverage multiple touch points in a six-week timeframe. The campaign included graphics and banner ads, radio, retargeting, paid search, mobile, outdoor billboards, a 90-second brand video which was featured on a campaign-specific landing page within the CyrusOne website, as well as a 30-second version of the video which was used in TV and digital video programs. It was also supported by a paid social media program.
Overall, the reach and impressions gathered from each of the marketing platforms represent a significant increase in recognition of the benefits CyrusOne can offer its customers. By implementing the campaign across different marketing platforms, both on social and through paid media, CyrusOne was able to successfully get its message in front of a larger audience, making the campaign a success.
