Recently, M/C/C President and Founder Mike Crawford did a little “show and tell” for National Public Radio (NPR) reporter John Burnett for a segment NPR was doing on Texas Longhorn cattle at the Horn Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas. Since Mike is a Texas Longhorn breeder in addition to running one of the leading technology marketing firms in the country, he was able to provide some insight into longhorn cattle. Mike brought the reporter into the longhorn pen and exhibited just how extremely calm and gentle a giant-horned beast can be for some fantastic shots that went along with the story. Mike also explained that Red Peak Ranch – his longhorn haven near Brownwood, Texas – was a great way to connect with clients outside of the PR and advertising world. Mike’s “weekend rancher” angle provided the reporter with more depth to his story, and Mike was able to create some exposure Red Peak Ranch and M/C/C in an unexpected environment.
