MCC Wins Gold MarCom Award for Its Comprehensive Public Relations Program

DALLAS – Nov. 12, 2013

Dallas-based integrated marketing communications agency, MCC, is delighted to announce that it will be adding a prestigious, gold man to its award display this fall. Recognized for its comprehensive public relations program for client Chuck E. Cheese’s, the agency was awarded a Gold MarCom award in November.

The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, and winners are selected from more than 6,500 total applicants throughout the U.S., Canada and several other countries. Judges look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

MCC individually customizes each of its public relations programs to the specific client. For Chuck E. Cheese’s, MCC crafted objectives to generate news coverage for the brand as a fun and rewarding family entertainment destination, a positive and engaged community player, an upstanding corporate citizen and a great place to work. Since the inception of Chuck E. Cheese’s public relations program, MCC has doubled the brand’s positive news sentiment from 16 percent to 38.46 percent.

MCC has helped Chuck E. Cheese’s launch several public relations campaigns with tremendous impact and results for the brand. Successful campaigns for the company have included attending BlogHer ’12 conference; the national rollout of the company’s gluten-free menu; launch of the new Chuck E. character; and promotions via Chuck E. Cheese’s partnerships with PBS Kids, Schreiber Foods and animated movies like Free Birds and Rise of the Guardians.

“We continue to strive to be the best of the best in all aspects of public relations,” said Mike Crawford, president of MCC. “We are honored to be recognized for our program as a whole and be included with the award-winning agencies and companies in the industry.”
