MCC Wins 2018 DFW AMA Marketer of the Year Award for Work With Kinetrex Energy

Dallas-based integrated marketing communications agency MCC brought home the 2018 Dallas-Fort Worth American Marketing Association (AMA) Marketer of the Year Award in the energy marketing category for its work with natural gas provider, Kinetrex Energy.

When Kinetrex approached MCC, the agency understood the company needed to not only raise brand awareness but also build trust with its clients. Through creative advertising and targeted media placement, MCC was able to deliver solutions to these needs by increasing active prospects.

MCC began the campaign by conducting market research. After identifying key customer decision factors, the agency was able to develop Kinetrex’s brand platform and brand promise, “Taking natural gas wherever it needs to go.”

This promise was then incorporated into two creative advertising campaigns that resulted in more than 9.1 million impressions, an average click-thru-rate of 0.17 percent (which is significantly higher than the B2B average of 0.09 percent) and a 700 percent increase in active prospects.
