MCC’s Mike Crawford to be Inducted into the Southwest American Advertising Federation Hall of Fame
DALLAS – June 4, 2018
Mike Crawford, founder and president of Dallas-based integrated marketing communications firm MCC, will be inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame for his work and contributions to the advertising industry for more than 30 years.
“It’s truly an honor to be included in this year’s hall of fame class,” said Mike Crawford, president, MCC. “It’s amazing to think about all of the success MCC has had, and it’s all thanks to the great people I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years.”
In 1986 Crawford created MCC, a tech-focused agency that was one of the first of its kind. As MCC matured, Crawford diversified the agency’s client base to include non-technology clients in the energy, insurance, government, finance, retail, health, security and entertainment industries. For the past 32 years, Crawford and MCC have worked with a myriad of companies from Fortune 500 giants to innovative start-ups and consistently found success. Crawford’s fresh and honest approach to clients set him apart and continues to distinguish the agency for many clients.
Crawford’s influence also extends beyond the advertising and marketing world. Along with being a strong advocate for the ALS Association, he is committed to supporting a variety of causes and charities, including organizations that his employees are passionate about, such as the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, the Ashford Rise School of Dallas and the Crayon Club at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Additionally, Crawford consistently invests agency resources to support the marketing needs of many local organizations including the Dallas Museum of Art, Big Thought, Tech Titans, the American Heart Association and a multitude of others.
The Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame was created by the Tenth District of the American Advertising Federation to honor men and women from the region who have distinguished themselves. The AAF is the only national grassroots trade association to encompass all segments of the advertising industry, including advertisers, agencies, corporate marketing departments, broadcast and print media companies, industry suppliers, college chapters and national trade associations engaged in various advertising pursuits. Other notable Hall of Fame inductees include Stan Richards, Liener Temerlin and City of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.
